Old El Paso Soft Taco Kit is a mild taco kit that includes 10 soft tacos, 1 Old El Paso Spice Mix and 1 Old El Paso Salsa for Topping. Ready in 20 minutes, it makes 10 soft tacos.

To make the most of your taco kit, just add 500g of lean beef mince, 1 onion, 2 handfuls of lettuce mix, 1 cup of cooked sweetcorn and sour cream. Heat a little oil in a frying pan and cook the onion until soft. Sizzle and stir the beef over high heat for about 5 minutes. Add the taco spice mix and ½ cup of water, then simmer until the sauce thickens.

Warm the soft tacos by opening the pouch, discarding the freshness sachet and microwaving the soft tacos in the pouch on HIGH at 1100 watts for 40 seconds. Times may vary depending on microwave wattage. Alternatively, heat a pan and brown the tortillas for 5 seconds on both sides, then wrap them in a teatowel to keep soft. Load your soft tacos with taco beef, lettuce mix, corn, sour cream and saucy salsa. As a top tip, make it veggie by chopping a sweet potato into small chunks, drizzling with oil and spice mix, baking at 200°C (180°C fan-forced) for 20 minutes, then tossing with drained black beans.
